AEIL has complete Leak/Wipe test kits available for clients who are licensed to test their own sealed radioactive sources or surface areas, These kits are mailed to the client as required on a calendar recall basis. This is a helpful reminder to keep your records current and in compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Agreement States. General instructions are included and specific directions for unusual situations are available.
A charge of $5.00 is made for each Leak/Wipe kit at the time of shipment from our office. The price schedule below determines the cost of evaluation for the number of completed Leak - Wipe test kits returned by the client and received by AEIL at any one time.
Computer generated Certificates are issued to the client upon completion of analysis. If the results exceed permissible levels (i.e.; 0.005 Microcurie (µCi) of removable contamination on sealed sources), the client will be contacted immediately by telephone.
